Born on September 11, 1976 in Zhytomyr.
In 1998 graduated from Kharkiv Aviation University, qualified as production management engineer.
MBA obtained in IEDC-Bled School of Management, Slovenia
January 2001 – May 2003 –Financial consultant of LLC “First International Financing Corporation”.
May 2003 – October 2005 – Deputy Director of the Investment Financial Group “TAS”.
November 2005 – September 2007 – Deputy Chairman of the Board on finance and economic issues of the JSC Bank „TAS-Komerzbank” (since July 2007 incorporated into financial group “Swedbank”).
Since 2008 – Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Financial Group “TAS”.
Mr. Popenko is in charge of strategic decisions on business development, investments, corporate finance management, top-management arrangements for holding companies, supervision of holding companies’ performance (inlc. executives’ efficiency/performance), and representation of the shareholders’ interests.
